Cheap Thrills

I was browsing the internet last night because it was too hot to sleep.  After an hour, I was getting to the point where I couldn’t think of anything else to look at, so I logged onto Forever 21′s website which is usually trouble for me.  While on there I discovered they have a new sister site called For Love 21.  Once I got on there, I realized it was a site filled with a bunch of needless stuff, and I was sold.

The site has fun stuff such as accessories, travel and fun outfits for your pet to be embarrassed in.  But, what perked me up the most was the gifts/home section.  There you’ll find fun lip balms, cosmetic bags, pocket mirrors and the like.  I was actually really impressed because they have one of my favorite lip balms ever, that until 2 weeks ago I had thought I had lost forever.  Truth be told, it was stored safety in a purse I decided not to wear for a year.

The lip balm I’m talking about is Violet (a favorite scent) scented lip balm by Vaselina Gal Collection.  I bought mine at Beauty Habit over a year ago and it’s amazing.  The scent is really strong, which is a good thing, it just makes you happy to wear it.  They have several different scents from line, but Violet is the best in my book.  Another great thing about the balms is that they are housed in these fabulous vintage-looking tins.  These balms are something special and aren’t your normal Lip Smackers.

Oh, and I just realized I lied a little bit about where the cosmetics bags are…they’re under the Travel section.  Makes sense.
