Every Man Jack Body Wash and Shower Scrub – Citrus

Sarah picked this up for me the other day from Target for me to try out. I’ve never heard of the Jack brand but I thought the packaging looked pretty cool from a first impression. It is an angular design with a cube shaped top, printed in a wood-grain pattern. It almost has a Tetris shaped feel to it, which made me wonder if they sold other products in coordinating designs it could snap into.
I’ve used the wash for three days now and I would say that I am pleased with the results. The consistency of the soap has miniture particles in it to help scrub your skin, which I think means “exfoliation”, although I’m no expert. I wouldn’t use this on my face or hair, partly because it says “body wash” on the bottle and partly because just looking at the consistency of the soap makes me think it would be too rough anyways. I’ve been using a combination body wash and shampoo for the past month, so I do miss being able to use one product for my whole body
In my honest opinion, I would consider this body wash to be more unisex then just exclusively men’s. Aside from the Jack brand name, the citrus smell is not overly masculine in a way that a girl couldn’t get away with using it as well. I doubt Sarah would take up that offer, since she has her own assortment to choose from, but if she did happen to try it I wouldnt think it was weird. The citrus fragrance is pretty intense, which might create a “love it or hate it” opinion from people trying it out for the first time. I am all for it, I think it smells really clean and actually does a pretty good job of waking me up in the shower.
