Pretty Eyes

July 2nd, 2008 by sarah

I have to give it to Clinique, they have some amazing products and even more amazing colors.  I kind of snub up my nose to the brand because it seems to be loved by girls in Jr. High…or maybe that was just my junior high.  But, I have to admit, I’ve been missing out.

They have a new fabulous product called Quick Eyes, which is a cream eyeshadow that is housed in a tube that could be used for your favorite lip gloss.  The shades the shadow come in are amazing, I narrowed my choices down to Lucky Penny and Muffin, but I would gladly wear any of the shades (scroll over the colors to see the names of the shades).

The thing that I like about this product is that you get 10-hour, crease-proof  wear and I like that the shades are buildable.  You can do one sweep to have a sheer day-look, or you can layer it on for a more dramatic look.  This product is also very portable and perfect for your makeup bag.

Kudos to Clinique…I’m slightly smitten and I might just find myself at a Clinique makeup counter this weekend.  You know, to celebrate our independence and all.

About Cupcakes Taste Nice

My lust for beauty products has been around since I was a kid. I always wanted the most eye catching packaging and the sweetest scents. As a preteen I could not wait to get my first pimple so that I could try out the different acne products that were marketed to me in magazines and on TV. As I got older I just loved the girlie side of wanting to look and feel pretty. I love taking a shower on Saturday morning and having a plethora of products to choose from depending on my mood that day. I anticipate my beauty and style magazines coming in the mail so I can read and research new products. I even spend hours on the internet searching for factual reviews of the latest and greatest products.
