Holy Smokes!

Yikes!  What do you think of this look??  It’s a little bit too smoky for me.  I always thought smoky eyes look great on everyone, until I saw these pictures of Hayden Panettiere and Sharon Stone.  It looks like they’ve been in a boxing match, not sultry at all! 

To avoid this raccoon look, you might want to try out Stila’s Smoky Eye Palette.  It comes in 3 different color shades, each with 4 color palettes.  But, it gets better…the kit actually has a button that you press that talks you through the process of creating a smoky eye.  And all this for $40!

A smoky eye can look beautiful when you’re having a big night out, going somewhere formal or just wanting to look a little bit sexier than usual.  I don’t recommend a full smoky eye for daytime though, especially if you’re at work.  It might be a little much.  But, if you are going to go the sultry route please keep the rest of your makeup clean and simple.  Reese Witherspoon pulls the look off perfectly.
