Harajuku Lovers Perfume

August 8th, 2008 by sarah

Okay, tell me you don’t want one of these…

Gwen Stefani will debut her newest fragrance collection, Harajuku Lovers, this September.  I am totally in love with the perfume bottles and I cannot wait to have one sitting up with the rest of my perfume collection; I could care less what the fragrance smells like.

The bottles are inspired after herself and her Harajuku posse:  Gwen, Love, Music, Angel, Baby.  The fragrances are a collection of fruity and floral notes and will be available in September at your local Macy’s counter (my birthday happens to be in September, perfect timing).

The fragrances sound yummy, but I just can’t get over the bottles themselves.  They are beyond adorable and sweet.  I want the whole collection!  And with the prices, I might be able to afford the whole set.  A 30 ml bottle will set you back $45 and a 10 ml bottle will set you back $25; not too shabby!

Here’s what each doll smells like:

Gwen:  A food lover’s fragrance with mandarin, coconut, apple, freesia and sandal wood.

Love:  A floral with notes of bergamot, pomelo (grapefruit-like), peach, rose, jasmine, orchid and musk.

Angel:  A fruity floral with notes of berries (raspberries, cranberry, blackberry), pineapple, rose and amber.

Music:  A floral with notes of clementine, pear, jasmine, sweet pea, honeysuckle, vanilla and musk.

Baby:  A powder musk of freesia, bergamont, rose, jasmine, musk, heliotrope, vanilla and violet.

I think they all sound delish…ugh!  I can’t wait!!

About Cupcakes Taste Nice

My lust for beauty products has been around since I was a kid. I always wanted the most eye catching packaging and the sweetest scents. As a preteen I could not wait to get my first pimple so that I could try out the different acne products that were marketed to me in magazines and on TV. As I got older I just loved the girlie side of wanting to look and feel pretty. I love taking a shower on Saturday morning and having a plethora of products to choose from depending on my mood that day. I anticipate my beauty and style magazines coming in the mail so I can read and research new products. I even spend hours on the internet searching for factual reviews of the latest and greatest products.
