Had To Say…

All day I’ve been reading about the New York Times article about how beauty bloggers are only after free swag and that their reviews are biased towards the companies who give them the products.  I’m a fresh face in the beauty blogging world, and while free products would be great (it would save me a ton of money), I would still give my 100% honest opinion about the product.  It’s the whole reason why I wanted to start blogging about beauty.  If you are a beauty junkie, fashion obsessed or whatever you are ALWAYS on the prowl for great products and you WANT honest reviews.  Not everyone will agree and not all products will work the same for everyone, but that’s what blogging is about.  It’s a chance to voice your opinion and hopefully people will get something out of it.  I feel really bad for the bloggers who were attacked in the NY Times article, but I feel that this won’t affect the beauty blogging community in any way.
