Asymmetrical Bob
I’m due for a haircut and color here in about a month and I’ve been thinking about what I’d like to do with my hair. I’m actually really liking my hair right now; I have a long angled bob that hits the back of my neck in the back and slightly drops below my shoulders in the front (see my about page). But, I’m always one who needs change, especially when it comes to spending money on a haircut and color, and I’ve been thinking about going for an asymmetrical haircut.
I really like how the style works for Kellie Pickler and Rihanna…and dare I say it, Paris Hilton. I’m just scared if I will like it after it’s done. It’s definitely one of those cuts that you can’t just roll out of bed with…and a ponytail won’t work in most situations either. But, a new and daring look is fun and I think this one could work on me.
If you too are interested in an asymmetrical cut, please do the following before you let scissors touch your hair. First, you need to make sure that it will work for your face shape and you’ll also need to consider how much time you have for maintenance. If you do decide the cut is right for you, make sure to bring plenty of pictures to your (trusted) stylist so that he or she can get the cut you are wanting. It’s also a good idea to talk about tools and products that might help with your new cut.
If I do decide to go through with this futuristic-ish cut I will for sure post a picture…if it looks good of course! Otherwise you’ll be reading a post on why you shouldn’t get an asymmetrical cut.
