Define Your Style

October 16th, 2008 by sarah

As you probably know I got my hair done last week and while at the salon I actually got suckered into buying a few products and the sad part was that I inquired about them on my own!  Like I’ve said lately, I’m really trying to be more conscious about what I’m doing for the environment and that goes along with my beauty routine.  The salon that I go to carries the Italian line, Davines who’s whole philosophy is about incorporating beauty and sustainability.  So, that’s how I was introduced to the Defining Relaxing Fluid…on my own.

I was initially intrigued about the product after my stylist used it on me because she said it helped cut down drying time; which we all know helps to also cut down on damaged hair.  The styling cream also helps to keep your hair straight and in its place while adding shine and not any oily residue.  So far I have had great results with the cream and my hair has been a lot easier to style.  I can literally blow dry my hair and not have to mess with round brushing my hair for 15 minutes to get it looking smooth and straight.  I really hate blow drying my hair more than anything so cutting back on my drying and styling time is a great relief to me.

I really urge you to check out the Davines website to learn more about the line and the other products they offer.  The website is beautiful to look at and their commitment to the environment is a huge selling point for me.  I also managed to buy a shampoo and conditioner on my hair journey, but that will be left for another day.  Hey, I can’t give it to you all at once!

About Cupcakes Taste Nice

My lust for beauty products has been around since I was a kid. I always wanted the most eye catching packaging and the sweetest scents. As a preteen I could not wait to get my first pimple so that I could try out the different acne products that were marketed to me in magazines and on TV. As I got older I just loved the girlie side of wanting to look and feel pretty. I love taking a shower on Saturday morning and having a plethora of products to choose from depending on my mood that day. I anticipate my beauty and style magazines coming in the mail so I can read and research new products. I even spend hours on the internet searching for factual reviews of the latest and greatest products.
