It’s That Time Again!

I can’t believe it’s true, but the month of October is coming to an end which means we’re all on a fast track to the holidays!  Some people start to freak out and stress out this time of year, but I can’t think of a more wonderful time.  I’ve been a fool for holidays since I was a little girl and not much has changed except for the fact that I’m at the age that I get more joy out of giving rather than receiving.  But, hey…that doesn’t mean that I can’t give to myself as well!

I am big into coziness once the temperature drops past 60 degrees and I want my spicy smelling candles going, the fire on, blankets on the couch, my robe handy and a frothy cup of hot cocoa to get me through the winter months.  And I don’t stop there, I want to feel cozy in the shower too, but my summer shower gels just don’t seem to cut it once it turns cold outside.

When it comes to cozy and smelly good stuff I know that I can always turn to Philosophy for their great products and their amazing shower gels.  My husband is a sucker for their seasonal Candy Cane shower gel, but I really like something a little richer for myself, so this year I have every intention of purchasing the 3-1 Double Rich Hot Cocoa shower gel.  I personally love the smell of chocolate and I can’t wait to indulge in something that doesn’t have a zillion calories attached to it.  And if you’ve used Philosophy’s shower gels, you know how the scent seems to linger in your bathroom as your getting ready.

I’ve also thought about some concoctions I can make with the hot chocolate shower gel and some of my others.  I could mix it with the candy cane shower gel for a minty chocolate treat.  I have a wonderful orange scrub gel that would go great with chocolate.  And I also have the Raspberry Sorbet gel from Philosophy that would work magic with hot cocoa.
