Pixie Bangs
Bangs have really taken the cake as the trend of 2008 and it doesn’t look like the trend is slowing down any time soon.
Christina Aguilera has taken the trend and made it her own with a cute set of pixie bangs. I can’t see myself pulling this look off, but she pulls off the look beautifully. The short, layered bangs really make her eyes stand out and give her a modern throw back look.
I think the pixie bang looks great when the hair is pulled up and back; it gives off a really elegant feel. But, wearing your hair down is a little trickier. You would have to really have confidence and know how to style your hair in a way to flatter your face and your bangs. Something I wouldn’t want to work at.
So, if you like to be on the cutting edge (literally), have a retro style or if you wear your hair back every day, then the pixie look might just work for you. But, if you’re a wash and go girl like me you might want to steer clear of this look. Plus, can you imagine growing those things out?

Christina does this great! I don’t know if i could although i like to try some funky stuff sometimes. THat’s when i go to my stylist, she always knows the right thing to do. Red Door Spas has some really great stylists (in addition to their fabulous spa giftcards that make great stocking stuffers

I just saw your blog… and then went straight to the salon on my break. Who knew you could get bangs cut so cheap??
Anyway, I NEVER thought that I would get bangs, but the pixie bangs rock. They even make a ponytail look “done.”

Ive been thinking about this look and after I saw these pix, I went and cut them myself a second later and im loving them, turned out perfect!
