Add This To My Dream Wishlist

It’s not every day that I decide I need a $195 skincare tool, but as of now I have made up my mind that I cannot live without the Clarisonic Skin Care System.

Clarisonic promises ultra-clean skin by cleaning deeper into the skin.  The rotating brush is gentle and helps to deliver a micro-massage that stimulates the skin and breaks up dry and rough patches.  The brush also helps to revitalize and clarify skin without harsh chemicals, like microdermabrasion and peels do.  Clarisonic uses the word, “sonic action”…you might remember this term from their popular electric toothbrushes and hey, it’s kind of the same concept.

Clarisonic promises you’ll remove more dirt and oil better than traditional washing methods and even makeup is removed six times better.  And with all that goop washed off your face and your pores cleared out, your moisturizers and serums will even absorb better into your skin.

Honestly, the thought of a rotating brush heading towards my sensitive face didn’t quite seem like a good idea at first, but the more reviews I read the more I couldn’t help wanting one of these brushes.  People who have had trouble with acne love the brush, people with rosacea love the brush, people with sensitive skin love the brush and it’s even great for guys too.  The brush even helps to improve skin tone and it helps with fine lines and wrinkles.

Below are some pictures taken from the Clarisonic webpage of some before and afters:

Clarisonic also offers different brush heads to suit your skin’s needs.  There’s a brush for normal skin, sensitive skin and acne-prone skin.  I really encourage you to check out the Clarisonic webpage to read up on the brush, they have a plethora of information, including before and afters and a FAQs page.  Even though the price tag is a bit spendy, it is an investment.  If you factor in the amount you pay for a facial or the amount you have spent on skincare products that haven’t worked, then this product really does pay for itself.

Thanks to our lovely economy I will have to wait for my birthday or Christmas to own this piece, but this is something that I cannot wait to try out myself.  And believe me, I will report back!  If any of you have had a fabulous or not so fabulous experience with the Clarisonic brush, please share your comments with us!!

Oh my gosh! I just stumbled across your blog and I totally agree with you, the Clarisonic Skin Brush is expensive but so alluring! Apparently the same company’s toothbrushes are amazing as well… Guess I need to save up.

    Keep the tips/reviews coming!

About Cupcakes Taste Nice

My lust for beauty products has been around since I was a kid. I always wanted the most eye catching packaging and the sweetest scents. As a preteen I could not wait to get my first pimple so that I could try out the different acne products that were marketed to me in magazines and on TV. As I got older I just loved the girlie side of wanting to look and feel pretty. I love taking a shower on Saturday morning and having a plethora of products to choose from depending on my mood that day. I anticipate my beauty and style magazines coming in the mail so I can read and research new products. I even spend hours on the internet searching for factual reviews of the latest and greatest products.
