Bourjois Baume de Nuit Night Lip Balm

One thing that absolutely drives me up the wall is chapped lips. I probably have about 30 different lip balm products and use them constantly through out the day. Lip balm is the one thing that I will never run out of and I have everything from classic ChapStick to expensive balms that probably do the same thing as the cheaper versions, but usually the packaging encourages me to pay $10 extra dollars. I could write a novella about my lip balm addiction. I can not go to sleep at night with out applying something to my lips. If I do by chance forget to do it, I will lay in bed trying to convince myself that I don’t need any until I finally go crazy and get up and apply some to my lips. Always sweet relief. So, I will admit to having a love affair with lip products, some might call it an addiction. Why, you might ask? Well, I hate dry lips. I hate cracking, peeling, rough texture, lips that bleed and those gunky white corners that sometimes occur. To prevent all this I go on lip balm missions. The goal: To find the perfect product. I can’t say that I’ve found THE product, but I’ve found several that have made it through the long haul in my makeup bag. But, I do have a top runner in my collection, and it’s the Bourjois Night Lip Balm. I love it. It was featured in one of Sephora’s catalogs and I became instantly curious about the product because it was being marketed as a “night time” lip balm. So, I figured it must do something special. I thought that this was something that I could just pick up quick and easy at Sephora, but I guess a million other girls were intrigued by this product as well. It was sold out, everywhere. I must have gone to at least 4 different Sephora’s, and that’s a lot. I finally caved and decided to buy it online, but it was sold out there as well! By this time I had to have it. Thanks to Sephora’s handy alert system, I was emailed once the product became available again online and I ordered it up right away. I’ve been using this for a little over 2 ½ months now and it’s been a great product. I put it on EVERY night (of course) at bed time. Since I’ve been using it my lips have been soft and haven’t been peeling. I tend to lick my lips a lot and bite my lower left lip. Because of this, I had peeling lips. The Bourjois night lip balm has really reduced the peeling, it’s not there at all and I’ve noticed that I haven’t had the need to apply lip balm as often. I mean, I still apply several coats a day out of habit, but I will say that I haven’t purchased another lip balm for 2 ½ months. Try it; I think you’ll love it too.
