Shanghaijava Collection Lilas Spiritual Solid Perfume
This is another gem that I found on beautyhabit.com.  And I must say that I feel very lucky to have found it.  As much as I love beautyhabit.com and the products they carry, it is SO hard to search for products on their website.  I will say in beautyhabit.com’s defensive that many of the products they carry aren’t household names, so you have to click on the product name to see what it’s all about.  But, it’s hard to distinguish the products.  The site does have different categories, such as Bath and Body, but there is no further definition from there.  Such as, lotions, shower gel, scrubs, etc.  You pretty much have to look at all the crazy names and products until you see something that interests you.

Speaking of crazy, here comes my case in point:  Crazylibellule and the Poppies.  They have the weirdest name, but the most wonderful smelling solid perfumes.  The line is called the Shanghaijava Collection and I’ve only had the pleasure of trying the Lilas Spiritual solid perfume.  And I must say, that I think I probably found my favorite on the first go around.  This scent is amazing!  It smells of Lilac and the scent is really rich and lush.  I must mention my three favorite fragrances.  I love floral notes, and I’m drawn to white flowers such as gardenia and purple flowers such as Lilac and Violet.  Most of the perfumes that I wear have similar notes, so if you share the same love for those fragrances, you will probably love the perfumes that I review.

I also have to mention that the actual consistency of the product is amazing.  Most solid perfumes are a pain to put on.  You have to rub and rub to get the product attached to your skin, but this stuff just glides on.  Part of the reason has to be the clever tube that it comes in.  It works just like an extra thick lipstick tube and you just apply it directly to your skin.  I like applying it to my neck and my chest area.  The scent doesn’t hold up all day, but it does last for several hours and it’s a great product to keep in your purse for the moments in the day that you need to freshen up.  It’s the perfect size to keep in a makeup bag or to travel with, very low maintenance.

I also have to mention the super cute packaging, its darling and I love the deep purple that they used.  The only negative that I found with this product was that one day I found the tube of perfume in the lid when I opened it, but that was a quick fix.  All I did was put the tube in the fridge for about an hour for it to firm up and then I took a butter knife and slide it around the edge and the solid popped right out.  I then attached it back its rightful place and it automatically went back to sliding in and out of the tube.  I placed it back in the fridge for another hour just to make sure that it had reattached and everything has been great since.  I’m not saying that this will for sure happen if you buy this product, I just think I left it in the car too long during the dead heat of summer.  So, other than that this product is amazing.  Perfect for anyone who is low maintenance, a girl on the go or just a girl who likes to smell delicious.

About Cupcakes Taste Nice

My lust for beauty products has been around since I was a kid. I always wanted the most eye catching packaging and the sweetest scents. As a preteen I could not wait to get my first pimple so that I could try out the different acne products that were marketed to me in magazines and on TV. As I got older I just loved the girlie side of wanting to look and feel pretty. I love taking a shower on Saturday morning and having a plethora of products to choose from depending on my mood that day. I anticipate my beauty and style magazines coming in the mail so I can read and research new products. I even spend hours on the internet searching for factual reviews of the latest and greatest products.
