Lush American Cream conditioner

I had my first experience with LUSH about 4 years ago while I was on a trip in London.  I fell in love with the store right when I walked in.  If any of you have had the pleasure of going into a LUSH store you know that they smell wonderful. 

I stocked up on several items that day, but one of those items have been a mainstay in my shower ever since.  I actually made two visits to LUSH on that trip thanks to their newsletter, Lush Times.  I had brought it back to the hotel with me to read up on all the wonderful products when I came across a little blurb about the American Cream conditioner.  A customer’s little girl reviewed the product and described it as yummy.  I instantly knew I would have to go back and get it for myself.  Plus, the name of the product was catchy and I thought it would be fun to buy a product named ‘American Cream’ in London, England. 

This conditioner is truly amazing.  I can’t say that the conditioner itself is incredible; there are comparable conditioners out there.  But, the scent is amazing and the best part is it last all day long.  The notes are supposed to be honey, oranges, vanilla and strawberries.  I can’t say that those are the notes that I detect, all I know if that the scent is absolutely dreamy.  I always put this stuff in my hair when I want to feel pretty or if I know a certain somebody will be getting close to me. 

I do feel I should mention that you don’t need as much of this conditioner as you think you would.  It doesn’t have the thick, creamy texture of most conditioners and it looks a bit thin and runny coming out of the bottle.  I use about a quarter size in my hair (my hair is just below my shoulders) and I leave it in my hair for about 10 minutes while I’m showering. 

Once you’re out and blowing drying your hair you will notice how soft and manageable your hair is and you’ll see this stuff really does condition quite nicely.  I don’t use this conditioner everyday, but it is a nice treat when you do chose to use it.  This is by far one of my favorite products and one that I will continue to purchase.  The little girl had it right, this conditioner is yummy!!
