Korres Natural Products Bitter Almond Body Milk

I bought this lotion on a whim about a year ago while I was accompanying my friend to Sephora.  That’s always a trouble situation because I can’t go into that store without walking out with something.  I remember I decided to buy something that day that I normally wouldn’t so I stayed clear of the eye shadows and lipstick.  I found myself over by the skin care section when I ran upon all these really cool bottles with this great organic looking packaging.  I had never heard of the brand Korres before so I started sniffing the products.  I came across a bottle that had the scent of bitter almond.  I have always loved the scent of almond, and the taste.  It reminds me of when I was a little girl and my mom would let me use her Jergen’s cherry almond lotion.  It’s just a really great crisp nutty fragrance.  I love how it’s light enough, but still has a bit of a sensual quality to it.  The funny thing about this product is that I actually thought I was buying a body wash.  I didn’t realize it was a lotion until I got it into the shower and onto my loafah.  I was so confused to why it wasn’t foaming when I realized that it was a lotion.  I felt stupid for a second until I realized that I rather have a lotion instead.  Just to note, Korres does have a body wash with the bitter almond scent.  I have yet to try it though.  The lotion is great though.  It’s very light and not greasy at all, yet it’s very moisturizing.  The scent also has great staying power.  I love to put it on at night, it such a sweet scent and it makes me smile while I’m falling to sleep.  I also wear it during the day; I usually don’t wear a perfume when I put it on because the scents tend to compete.  But, it’s a great lotion to wear by itself if you’re having a casual, low maintenance day.  This lotion is very unassuming and I think you’ll really enjoy wearing it.
