King of Shaves…no really!

I can’t say that I shave my legs everyday, which is probably a good thing (for my skin at least), but I do know that shave cream or gel is super important. I must say shame on you if you use soap and water to shave your legs. Not only does it strip your skin of moisture but it also leaves you vulnerable to nicks. Hopefully all of you know better and practice better shaving techniques. I unfortunately have very sensitive skin and I’m prone to ingrown hairs and bumps under my arms and on my bikini line (yikes!). While exfoliating can help this occurrence, a good shave cream can also be an aid. I’ve tried all sorts from sensitive skin formulas, to fruity smelling formulas to no-foam formulas, but none have impressed me like King of Shaves. They sell different formulas, but the one I love is the AlphaGel ASC Active Skin formula. This gel is great, you don’t need much and it’s clear so you can see where you’re applying it. What makes this product work is the antibacterial agent which helps to prevent ingrown hairs and razor burn. I’ve literally had zero problems with this since I’ve started using this shave gel. And the best part, it’s super cheap! Under $5…have at it!

You can get this stuff at drug stores and places like Target. If you can’t find the antibacterial version (it’s not as easy to come by as the original) you can go online to buy it.
